I was honored to be asked to accept the nomination for the Angels in Adoption Honoree in October. November is national Adoption month. I provide a home for foster children and work with adoptive families who are struggling with the behaviors of their adopted child. I also provide a stable home for some children who are not going home and are not available for adoption.
The Family of the Good Shepherd is a small ministry. At the moment it is me and my mom, a volunteer and other occasional volunteers.
May Our Lord and Our Lady continue to bless this ministry and help us to continue to serve children in need.
May the children we serve as The Family of the Good Shepherd experience the love of Christ through our care of them!
