Christmas 2022
A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
It has been a year of sorrow and blessing. On February 24, 2022 my mom died and went home to the Lord. She died here at home as she wanted to. She was buried with her husband, my dad at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola Fl.
I took the children in the home with me to Pensacola for the burial. The trip was a wonderful experience for them! It was also wonderful to see friends that I have not seen in years!
The ministry was at the point of being ready for a new dog, so in January we adopted a 2-year-old Doberman Pinscher/Siberian Husky. Rosalind (Rosie) has been a great addition to the family!
Some of the children I can speak about:
Sapphire has been a great help here in the home. She has also started cleaning a couple homes for older people who need some cleaning help. She also sings in the choir and has become a Eucharist Minister.
The other two do great in on line Classical Education Homeschool. Eleyna continues in competition gymnastics and has started violin lessons. Micah enjoys sports, especially soccer and baseball.
Other children in the home are doing well as they continue to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
A big Thank You to those who have been benefactors to the ministry by your prayers and friendship; helping with the children when needed; donating a newer model minivan; covering the cost of extra-curricular fees; and monetary donations in general.
Know that your family continues to be in my prayers! Please keep me and the ministry to children in prayer!
