Happy Solemnity of St. Joseph, Foster Father of Jesus, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The protector of the Holy Family! Example to all Fathers, yet St. Joseph is silent in Scriptures. He is written about in Scriptures; being betrothed to Mary, being uncertain as to what to do when his betrothed is pregnant, yet pondering how this happened. He prayed for guidance and God sent an angel with the answer and instructions which Joseph followed! Is seen taking care of his family within the Jewish faith and protecting them from harm! (See Matt. ch. 1-2 and Luke Ch. 1-2) It is known that Joseph was a carpenter by trade and that Jesus learned and worked along side him!
